As some of you know, I have been looking for a new home. Tired of renting, I thought it was time to get a place of my own. Now, I am not made out of money, so I started looking at alternatives to traditional houses in a price range I could afford.
After a bit of searching, I found some mobile homes for sale that were in my price range. They offered the same square footage as a traditional house, but at a lower price.
Before I was going to make any offers, I headed down to the bank to inquire about how a manufactured home mortgage worked. The loan officer was very good at explaining the reason why I wouldn’t need a traditional mortgage and why there were specialized mortgages for mobile homes.
I filled out a loan application there to get pre-approved for a mortgage - that way I knew what I could look at for mobile home prices. He also mentioned that depending on the amount I would be putting down as a down payment, I may need to purchase PMI for my loan.
Now that I know what I can afford, I will have a better idea of what to look for. I have found a couple that I am going to take a look at on the weekend, now, all I need to do is find a realtor….
Ever since I was in college, I have been dabbling with various types of investments. It all started out as a project for my business class and it really got me interested in investing and what happens when you invest your money.
I was particularly interested in the different profit systems and the amount of real profits that could be gained by being a smart investor. I decided to write a paper on this for my business class and I did very well. It was also a life changing essay, because it is what got me started on real investments.
When the newspaper comes in the morning, the first section I grab is the one with the business reviews. I always like to keep an eye on what my investments are doing and I am pretty good at knowing when to buy and when to sell.
I would say that the knowledge I got in investments was the best thing I came out of college with and for that reason alone, I will never regret my education.
A buddy of mine runs a successful online business that doesn’t require a fancy office. In fact, he doesn’t even need to be anywhere in particular to get his work done - all he needs is a computer and a connection to the Internet. So, he has been house hunting for a nice place to live, that caters to his active lifestyle and where he can work once in awhile.
There have been many places that he has looked with mixed results. Some of them are nice but out of his price range, and other more affordable places just don’t have much to offer. But he did come across a jewel of a place when he found a site dedicated to Greenville SC real estate.
You see, price wise, the homes there were within his budget. He showed me a few online, and they were pretty nice. Also, there were plenty of opportunities for boating, hiking, and snowboarding. It definitely seemed like the perfect location for him.
So, he will be getting in touch with a realtor there next week so that he can fly down and check some of them out. I have never seen him this excited for as long as I have known him.
I work in a television studio and am in charge of making sure that the digital media is working up to par. There is a lot of technical know how involved, but I would have to say that I am in my element dealing with the in and outs of the equipment.
I also get the grand job of going back into the archives to find segments from previous weeks, months and even years that need to be reviewed. This is the most tedious part of my job, because if it was not labeled correctly, I may have to go through hundreds of clips, to find the one I need.
I am trying to work out a labeling system in which you could just do a free search (on a database) and come up with the segments required. This will take a lot of time, as all of the clips will have to be relabeled and organized.
Although the equipment becomes obsolete on a regular basis, you will find nothing for sale here. I thought that maybe one of the perks of the job was going to be to get good deals on old equipment, but sadly, I am not sure what happens to it.
I work in a bank and I spend a good part of my time there processing mortgage loans. It is tedious and I don’t have the actual contact with the clients, but it is a job. I am the low man on the totem pole and will hopefully hand this task down to someone else.
I have to admit, though, that I have learned a lot to benefit me personally by doing this job. I am at the point where I am ready to purchase my own home and I have gotten some great mortgage leads because of my tedious job.
If there was every a place you could call the best real estate place - it would be where I work. Not only can you get good leads on properties before they hit the market, but by knowing my colleagues, I will have a better chance of getting my loan approved because of the people I know here.
I am planning to apply for one of those FHA loans and I know just the person to talk to here. She is super to me and she is one of the ones encouraging me to step out and buy a house.
I have worked as a night auditor at a hotel here in town for a year and a bit now. Now, that may sound like a bad job, but it really only takes me about an hour to get the work I need to get done in a night. This means I have a lot of free time to do with as I please, all while getting paid to be there.
Lately, I have been using the computer at the front desk to play online games. Perhaps the biggest perk of this is I can play whatever type of game I would like and not have to install anything on the work computer. Sometimes, I am in the mood to play casino games, while other times, I would rather play classic games like Bubble Bobble.
I was sure to ask my boss beforehand if playing games on the work computer was okay. I didn’t want to get fired for something as stupid as playing games - and he had no problems provided I didn’t install anything on the work computer.
I am living the life I dreamed of as a child: getting paid to play games.
I went to order Zoloft the other day over the Internet, but the online pharmacy that I usually use, did not have any in stock. I could not let myself run out, so I bought them here at the local pharmacy and sent off an email to the online pharmacy to check if they ran out often.
Previously, I had always ordered Paxil online, but I was recently switched to a new antidepressant. In the past I had never had any problems with ordering online. I was concerned that they would never have them in stock, but they assured me it was a rare occurrence.
I was told that they would quite often run out of generic Prozac, but that everything else was normally in stock. The reason that the Zoloft ran out was that their own shipment of it had been back ordered. This made me feel better, as I was already nervous about switching in the first place.
Well, Christmas is finally here and almost gone. We just finished opening our presents just a few minutes ago, and I am here, eagerly waiting to try out my new iPod Touch. Some words come to mind when I look at it: cool, sleek and freakin’ awesome!
Excitement aside, it means that I need to learn how to use it. From what I have seen with the software, the music part seems really easy, but I am really interested in the video. A quick poke around online shows that there are many sites dedicated to iPod Nano converters, and iPod Classic converters, but not many for the iPod Touch.
Thankfully, after a couple of minutes, I was able to find a site that had a complete walkthrough on how to convert a DVD to iPod Touch. The multitude of screen shots on the walkthrough should speed up my learning process and I am going to give it a try. Too bad, I have to wait until the iPod is charged up before I can see the playback of the movie, but I will have to wait - I don’t have a choice.
Well, Christmas day is half done, and I just received a phone call from my niece. Seems that she liked the present I got her which was a New York Limousine Rental for Prom. She has always been my favorite and I thought I would get her something that she would like.
My search started a few months ago with a search online for "Prom Limousine New York". I was able to find a few NYC Limo Rental companies to choose from and I did some research about each one.
Okay, I did more than some research, I did a lot. I just wanted her day to be perfect, and getting some second class limo rental company just wasn’t going to cut it. After a few weeks of digging and comparing notes, I finally found one and booked it.
I am so happy that Carly is happy with her gift, yet I am sad to see her grow up. It seems it was just a little while ago that we were having ice cream at the beach. Boy does time fly.
I went to the pharmacy the other day to buy Ephedrine, only to find out that they were completely out of stock. This was the second time in a row that this had happened and I was kind of fed up with the whole situation. I knew I needed to look into other ways of procuring the drug.
I take Ephedrine for asthma, so when I can’t get it, it really messes me up. If I stop taking it, my chest feels really tight and I have a hard time breathing. I decided that I should look at purchasing it online. I didn’t think it would be too hard to find, as you don’t need a prescription for it.
I found many websites that sold Biotek Ephedrine, which is what I take and the prices were even a lot better than they are at the pharmacy. I ordered some and they arrived two days later. I don’t think that I will ever buy it at the pharmacy again. It was much cheaper and easier doing it online.
