Well, Christmas is finally here and almost gone.  We just finished opening our presents just a few minutes ago, and I am here, eagerly waiting to try out my new iPod Touch.  Some words come to mind when I look at it: cool, sleek and freakin’ awesome!

Excitement aside, it means that I need to learn how to use it.  From what I have seen with the software, the music part seems really easy, but I am really interested in the video.  A quick poke around online shows that there are many sites dedicated to iPod Nano converters, and iPod Classic converters, but not many for the iPod Touch.

Thankfully, after a couple of minutes, I was able to find a site that had a complete walkthrough on how to convert a DVD to iPod Touch.  The multitude of screen shots on the walkthrough should speed up my learning process and I am going to give it a try.  Too bad, I have to wait until the iPod is charged up before I can see the playback of the movie, but I will have to wait – I don’t have a choice.
