I decided earlier today that I needed some dictation equipment to help me get all the writing I needed to get done completed in a shorter period of time. You see, I have been typing out everything and my hands hurt really bad. Now, my hands are slowing me down and I figured with the proper dictation machines I would be able to get the work done and give my hands a break.
I went online to the Ace Business Directory to see if I could find some Philips dictation equipment suppliers. After a quick search, I found a couple and I will be calling them later on today to discuss the availability and pricing of the dictation equipment they have on hand.
Hopefully, dictation technology has reached the point where it is reliable enough to get the job done with the least amount of mistakes. I guess I will just have to wait and see.
Ever since I wrote my first book report in elementary school I have loved to write essays. Call me weird, call me crazy, but an essay allows the creativity inside of me to flow out onto a piece of paper. It is an opportunity for me to utilize the writer inside of me and share my thoughts on the topic that I’m writing.
I found writing the application essay for college one of the easiest and most enjoyable things to do in my life. I liked it so much that I wish that any job that I ever would apply for would allow me to write an essay instead of going to an interview.
Once I did start my classes in college, each time that a professor would assign a research paper as the assignment, I would jump for joy. Sure, I was the only one in the class of thought that way, but for me essays are just easy to write.
The only times that I had in college, was getting used to writing an online essay for a final exam that I had for English. The problem for me was it was a new experience for me and I had issues writing it is my creativity flows better onto paper. But at least I was able to do what I love in college - write essays.
It seems that there is one common thing that all of us college students do each and every year: we write. Now, I’m not talking about simple little notes, but rather we spent most of our time writing papers and assignments for the many classes that we take.
This task of writing starts even before we enter college. Something as simple as an admission essay is the launching pad for a four year writing stint at the college that you apply for. Not only are they looking at the content of your essay, but they’re also assessing whether or not your writing skills are adequate for college-level assignments.
Thing is, they don’t want you to buy a custom essay online instead of writing your book reports on your own. It also can serve as a comparison for the essays you do read in college to give them an indication that it is your own work.
For as long as I can remember, I have been afraid to drive. I think my fear stems from an accident that I was in when I was a child. It was horrible and left me scarred and to this day, I have not been able to drive.
But, I have decided that I should maybe give it a try. You see, I recently won a car in a raffle that I had entered and since I won it, it has been sitting in the driveway, unused. That makes me a little sad, since it is the first thing that I have ever won and I am not able to enjoy it.
So, I have decided that I would give driving another chance. I have enrolled in driving lessons in Sutton Coldfield and I am going to start next Wednesday. Price wise it is very reasonable, I just hope I am able to overcome my fear of driving with the help of the instructor.
If I am unable to overcome my fear, I will just have to sell the car. I hope that it doesn’t come to that.
I was hoping that spring wouldn’t come around so quickly. My reasoning behind this is winter is the slow time for me - except for shoveling the driveway and sidewalk, it is a restful season for me.
But, when spring rolls around it is another story. There always seems to be some yard work to do, or something to paint, or fix around the house. I manage to keep myself really busy during the summer, and by the end of it, I just can’t wait until it is winter.
What I know that I will have to do is paint the deck and the fence this year. I really should have done it last year, but I didn’t feel like it. I feel that it is okay to be lazy sometimes, but unfortunately, if I don’t take care of it this year, I might have to replace both.
So, I have been going to the hardware store to see if I can find wood stains that match the current colors I am using on the fence. I have also been trying to find some hardwood stains that would go good with the deck, but I am having less luck in that department.
Maybe I can enlist the help of some friends to help get everything done… because I have a big painting job ahead of me.
I have spent most of the day today promoting my websites. This can be a daunting task, especially if you are promoting a large network of sites. Today, I was doing six at one time, and sometimes I feel that it is tough to keep track of everything that I am doing.
What I really wonder about this time I am investing in promoting my sites, is what type of return, in terms of back links, am I really getting? I mean, if you take a look at free link directory submissions that I have been doing, how many of them will actually be approved.
This is in stark contrast to the six links that I added to a link bid directory. It was a business directory and I had to pay for the links - but they were approved right away. There was no question in my mind in terms of whether or not I had wasted my time listing my site there - I knew that because of that site, I would get traffic in the near future.
I am definitely going to keep my eye on how the advertising performs - if it is as effective as I think it will be, I will be using more bidding directories in the future.
A few years ago when my husband and I bought out a small town hardware store, we did not realize how much business we would actually get. I figured in a small town, we would get regulars with small orders, but I never expected the sales we achieved with both regulars and summer tourists.
I decided that this year we should bring in a whole selection of gardening tools, as it seems that every person in this town has a beautiful garden plot. I know the garden tools will be a great seller and I think the people of the community will be grateful that we brought these in.
My husband and I both grew up in a city and are not familiar with gardening ourselves. I am looking forward to planting my first garden this year and I think it will be a wonderful feeling to eat stuff that I have grown with my own two hands. I was definitely made for small town living.
Last year, my boyfriend and I had the best experience ever. We got to go backpacking through Europe. It was a once in a lifetime trip for us and we savored absolutely every moment of the month we were away. We did so many new things and tasted so many new foods. It was a cultural experience that I would not trade for the world.
We decided to try something new in each country we went to. We have great pictures and fond memories of fishing in Greece, trying a hypnotherapy London clinic, parasailing in Venice and dancing in Spain. We both grew so much as people through the experience and we made friendships that will last us a lifetime.
I was once told that there were good and bad things to be found in every situation, but I honestly can’t think of one bad thing that happened on this trip. I was in Utopia and nothing was going to bring me down from the natural high I was on. I definitely will have to return to Europe some day, but for now, I will bask in the memories that we made and look at the pictures we snapped.
As our business has grown, so have the technological and telephony needs of our company. We have grown from using just one single phone on a single line to having an office full of phones and a switchboard system. This growth has not been without its share of headaches.
We were worried that we were going to have problems when our company required a conference calling solution. At the time, we considered going with the highest bidder assuming that they would have the best solution. But, at the last minute, we went with the company that had most affordable and highly praised conference calling solutions.
We definitely made the right choice, and have only had one problem with their service. That was dealt with promptly by an efficient customer service department. Many of our staff have applauded our decision to go with the provider that we chose. We are very thankful that the affordable conferencing solution that we purchased has worked so well and been so beneficial to our business.
Recently, I had the opportunity to go on a business trip to China. It was definitely and experience I will never forget, especially the beautiful city of Shanghai.
I was there with a good friend of mine that has an import/export business. She paid me to travel China and be her assistant. We had many different business meetings with suppliers on the way, and I made some valuable contacts.
Moving around China was an experience as well. We did everything from flying on a plane to riding trains. We even had the opportunity to rent bicycles and ride the city ourselves - that was something different indeed.
But, it seemed that the trip was over too soon. Sadly, we had to come back home, but it was a great trip, and I have plenty of memories to share with my friends and family. I hope someday that I will be able to go back - maybe I will be able to next year.
