If you have kids, you’ve heard about Wii. If you’ve heard of Wii, you probably know what Wii Fitness is. I barely understand the technology of it but I’m super curious about the system at this point.
I’m physically limited in what I can and can’t do when it comes to exercise. Thanks to a bad spine with several fusions, disintegrating discs, and scoliosis, I can actually do quite a bit – in moderation.
Ok, so the point is that I dislike going to gym for the amount of money spent vs the amount of time I can actually use the facility. I’d rather do something at home and I already have a treadmill, but that gets boring when it is all I have.
So, with the Wii gizmos fitness thing – you get a step or platform like device that reads and measures your every move. Even just subtle ones and allows you to “play” along with instructors who run you through yoga or other physical fitness routines.
This not only looks like fun in a game type of way, but also seems like it could be a great work out that could be varied to keep me from getting bored. Guess I’ll have to wait and see if I get one any time soon!
It seems everywhere I look, people are pampering themselves (or maybe I should say indulging themselves) by hiring Hummer limos, or any other brand of limousine hire. From Hummers to Cadillacs to Lincolns, to GM SUVs, you can ride in the proverbial lap of luxury and dine with panache during a smooth and quiet ride to anywhere you wish.
Yellow page ads are an excellent source of limo rental agencies. Of course the world wide web can help you find anything. The key to an effective online search for local rental agencies should take the form of limo hire Kent, where you have the “item,” the “what” and the “where.”
I recommend doing a price comparison to get the best deal. Be sure to ask what amenities are provided and if food and beverages are included in the rental price or extra. There are some shady dealers out there, so it never hurts to ask.
When I started building my own websites I wanted to both find good hosting and to find good ways to promote my sight and drive traffic to it. I decided that I would do a search and find out what was available and what people were saying about it. It was a big step for me, but it was one that I knew I would have to take if I was ever going to have a successful Internet business.
I found quite a few hosting companies that came very highly recommended and I had the daunting task of choosing the one that would be best for me. I talked to a few of my friends that already have Internet hosting and I told them that I was thinking about going with asp.net web hosting.
I had one friend who was already utilizing the services of this company and he said that he was happy with what he got. I decided to give it a try and I have not been disappointed yet.
Being overweight my whole life, I knew that I definitely had to do something about getting into shape if I was going to be around long enough to watch my children graduate from high school. I started an intense diet and decided that I was going to hire a physical trainer to help me get into the shape that I had never been in before.
The first week that I did the physical training, I thought that I was going to die. Every inch of my body was in agony and when I got up every morning, I cursed the gym and my trainer. I felt like I could not move, and yet, everyday I still drug myself down there to put my body through hell once again.
It has been a little over a month now and, though I would like to say that I am doing better, it still hurts and I still hate it. I have lost a lot of weight though, and my husband is good at massage therapy.
I know it seems to some people that I’ve done, in the words of a friend of mine, “just about everything.” Well, no. What I have not done outnumbers what I have done. But as many of you know, I have an ADD brain. I could go in 20 different directions if that were possible, with all the things I have going on in my mind.
So the fact that I’ve actually done futures trading shouldn’t be so unbelievable. I followed a particular strategy called technical trading. Technical traders pay little, if any, attention to the fundamentals. Instead, they chart everything and have made reading these charts into a science. Based on particular patterns in the charts, a trader makes decisions about what futures or futures options transactions to initiate.
When I was paper trading I made thousands. Once I was spending my own money, ouch! It will be some time before I try it again. But I will try it again — in the…well, future.
Did you know that your driving record is not the only thing that affects your auto insurance quotes?
I remember talking to my insurance agent a while back when getting a new used car and she told me that their company would be changing to a credit based system which didn’t make a lot of sense to me.
One reason it doesn’t work for me is that I have lousy credit, but a good driving record. My credit is bad thanks to a divorce and medical bills left over from a drunk driver hitting me. The really bad part is that all of those things happened over four years ago and credit rating stick with you from seven to ten years!
So, if they were to base my auto insurance on how well I have driven my car in the last seven to ten years rather than the medical bills that should have been paid by the drunk driver’s insurance, my car insurance wouldn’t be quite as expensive.
This time of year, as summer begins I start thinking about all the projects I wanted to do last year but never quite got around to. Of course as I do all this heavy duty thinking (don’t you love heavy mental lifting?), I do not have to abuse myself by staying indoors on a gorgeous pre-summer day. Not at all. I can sit out on the porch and let the breeze ruffle my hair and caress my cheek as I make my mental list.
First I want to create a garbage can corral for the front of the house. Right now the cans are pretty unsightly, not to mention that they don’t match, gasp! I need to plant some annuals in small containers for the flower hutch in the corner. Right now all I have is a dead lily, a deader African violet and a dying philodendron vine – Not attractive.
Most of all, I want to get rid of the non-working oven in the kitchen, replace the cook top with a stove, and install a new water system in the kitchen. I know there are more things I wanted to do, the breeze is so pleasant and my eyes are so heavy, I think I’ll just kick back and dream about the rest of my list.
I am a girl and I like to watch fights. Well, more specifically I like to watch MMA (mixed martial arts) fights and I’m actually 34 years old.
I got into the fights about a year ago, maybe two, when my boyfriend and I were channel surfing one weekend.
After watching one show we couldn’t quit! It was crazy the amount of different styles included in the mixed martial arts fights. Everything from jujitsu to wrestling is allowed and the fighters may compete in a cage or in a regular ring like boxers.
They don’t wear much fight gear, just a pair of knuckle guards and shorts along with a cup, I’m sure. The knuckle guards aren’t even padded much like what you would see on a boxer.
I love watching the events because it really does take skill to beat the opponent unlike the “wrestling” shown on TV here in the US which is all showmanship and acting for the most part.
With MMA, there is tremendous training in different martial arts disciplines and these guys and girls could whip most anyone’s butt on any given day.
I have found that I have been questioning my spirituality a lot lately. I have always been quite a spiritual person and I have always been able to find contentment in peace in my surroundings, even when things seem to be difficult and not going as planned.
I have always been very conscious of the spiritual nature of my surroundings, knowing that we need to be in tune with the earth if we want to live up to our full potential. The earth is our friend and the creator did not make it so that we could destroy it. I do my part in caring for Mother Earth and it hurts me when I see people that have little or no disregard for nature.
I have always felt a oneness with the earth, as if she were a part of me and I was a part of her. In her, I find contentment and peace.
Sometimes I try to come up with a title before writing a post. This one typed itself. And then a …well, jazz song wrote itself down, too, complete with instrumental sound effects: (dit-DAH-dee-DUM). Just imagine a blues singer crooning the phrase a capella and a good ol’ jazz band playin’ the dit-DAH-dee-DUMs. Kick back and groove along with me.
If you want new windows, (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
Then here’s what you need. (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
Go buy vinyl windows (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
They’ll please you, indeed. (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
They’re easy to care for. (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
They look real good, too. (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
No scraping or painting (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
Will you have to do. Oh, no, you can’t go wro-o-ong if you’ll just listen now to me.

Uh-hunh!
You can get tilt-to-clean ones. (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
You can get standard, too. (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)
Easy-lock, easy-open. (dit-DAH-dee-DUM)

When I finish this verse, because you can’t go wro-o-ong with an Illinois window company.

Oh, yeah!
