Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to visit Disney World. Unfortunately, my parents never had enough money to go when I was a child, so I vowed that I would make sure that I would take my children there.
It wasn’t until our oldest was 10 years old that we finally had the money to go. But going on a trip for children and a spouse can be very expensive. In fact, we had to save up for three years just to have enough money to go.
It wasn’t until we got down to Disney World that I found out how much Disney World tickets cost. Our biggest problem was going to be that each of us wanted to visit a different attraction which meant we would have to buy separate tickets for each one.
Thankfully, the clerk at the ticket booth suggested that we buy Disney Hopper tickets. These special tickets allowed us to visit all the attractions in the same day without having to buy new tickets for each one. This saved us a bundle of money it I would suggest that if you were going there you should look into them too.

With summer quickly ending and it being almost time to go back to school, I thought that I would buy my daughter a new laptop for this fall. Her current notebook is nearly four years old, and the battery barely holds a charge making it barely suitable for school.
So, I decided that I would look online to see what I could find for her. I did find a number of models that were appropriate for her, but I wanted to see if I could get a better deal. Sure, I wouldn’t be able to negotiate a better price, but I thought that I could find some coupons that could save me some money.
I used my IE coupon toolbar that I installed a couple of months ago and typed in "laptop coupons". I was able to find a number of discounts at online retailers, and was able to get a good deal on one for my daughter.
My wife and I decided to go away for our anniversary this year. It is been five years since we got married, and we thought that we would do something special for change instead of just going out for supper.
As an added bonus, we will be leaving the kids at home and letting grandma watched them while we are gone. It will be a much deserved break and should recharge us so that we can be better parents.
So we have been looking for Las Vegas hotel deals to help save us a little bit of money for this trip. Unfortunately, we don’t have a lot of money in savings, so we need to pay as little as possible while we are gone.
Thankfully, there are many websites dedicated to getting a deal on Las Vegas hotels, and we’ve been looking at most of them to see what we can find. We have learned that many of the hotels offer Las Vegas promotion codes that you can use when booking a room to get a great deal.
Hopefully we’ll be able to find cheap airfare as well and make the trip special without costing a lot of money. I just can’t wait to get there - it will be nice have a break from the kids.
One of the things I learned since moving away from home is that managing your finances isn’t always as easy as it looks. I suppose that the money matters of our family were kept from me as my parents never discussed it and therefore my level financial mastery was really quite low.
It didn’t take me very long to rack up my credit card debt to the point where I was in trouble. In fact, I it was even considering taking advantage of poor credit debt consolidation that was offered by a company in town. But I really didn’t want to go down that road since I created the mess and to me that meant it was my responsibility to clean it up.
I went to a seminar on how to reduce credit card debt and it was there that I learned about debt diet plans. By going on a debt diet I would curb my spending and have a plan for paying off my debt over the next couple of years. Even though that meant I would have to exert some restraint when it came to spending, I knew this was a better alternative to my other options including bankruptcy.
Even though I have another year to go before I am debt-free, I know that I’m doing the right thing by taking control of my finances.
Sometimes I get a little frustrated that the world is so big even though it is really so small. A good example of this is the fact that the Internet can allow you to connect with anybody in the world but it still takes a lot of time (and sometimes a lot of money) to actually go visit them in person.
A good example would be my aunt and uncle that live in Icmeler Turkey. They’ve only been over here to North America once or twice and I thought for a change to be a great opportunity for me to go visit them at home.
I knew that this wasn’t a be another one of those cheap holidays that you usually have in summer, but I thought it would be great opportunity to grow as well see some place that I’ve never been before.
Thankfully, I was able to find some cheap flights to Turkey and we should be heading over there in just a couple months. I’ve already talked my uncle and he’s really excited that were coming and is especially excited that were bringing our kids. It is looking like it is going to be a grand adventure.
As a first-time owner of commercial property, I’ve had to learn a lot of different things. Instead of starting out with a simple residential property, I bought a strip mall that was at such a deep discount I couldn’t pass it up.
Even though it was a good deal, there were some problems that needed to be attended to. We needed to pave the parking lot and the roof of the building required immediate attention.
Having never hired a contractor to replace the roof on a building, I decided turn to the Internet for the solution. I went on my favorite search engine and typed in "roofing Barrington RI". This gave me some results but there were lots of residential companies-it wasn’t quite what I was looking for.
I took a search one step further and typed in "flat roofing Barrington RI". This is closer but still not exactly what I was looking for. When I finally typed in "commercial roofing Barrington RI", I found what I was looking for. After looking through the website that were listed and making a couple phone calls, as someone coming out to fix our roof next week.
When I was packing to go to Europe, I was wondering if my Zune car charger would work over there. I knew that I could not survive for two whole months without my music and it was important for me to be able to take it with me.
I did not want to take my Zune dock cable, as I was trying to pack as little as possible. I was going to be backpacking for three weeks and I did not want to be hauling it around with me. I didn’t want anything bigger than my clothes and my hairbrush.
My mom surprised me with a new Zune travel charger before I left. She said that it would work there and that it was one thing she could do for me before I left. She is the greatest mom ever, as she knew how important it was for me and I was going to miss her.
When I was buying my first car, I decided to call the auto insurance company that my dad uses to get a car insurance quote. I was sure that my rates were going to be high, as I was a fairly new driver. I had a great driving record, which helped a lot, but I did not have the years of experience that a good rate warrants.
I was quite surprised at the good rate that I was quoted, as I expected to pay a whole lot more than that. My dad told me that he was also surprised and said that I should definitely go for it. I filled out all the paperwork and was more than happy to put my new license plates on my older car.
I was always told that auto insurance Ontario was ridiculously priced, but I was glad that those people were wrong. At seventeen years old, I don’t have a lot of money, so it was good that I found something that I could afford.
Ever since I was nine years old, I have had to wear glasses. I guess it wasn’t unexpected that I would have to considering that both my parents have them, but I never really liked wearing them. Glasses also made me a social outcast of sorts - I was the only one in the class that had to wear them.
Now years later, my love for glasses has never blossomed - I hate them with a passion. So, I decided that since there is a clinic in town that offers LASIK eye surgery, I might as well give it a try. It would be so nice to be free from my glasses once and for all.
But, I wanted to know what I was looking at before I took the steps to have the surgery. I had heard that the LASIK cost was really high, though according to the websites I did get a chance to look at, it really wasn’t that bad.
I am particularly interested to see if the clinic here in town offers wavefront LASIK as supposedly it is supposed to improve night vision - something that I really haven’t had for years.
Though it looks very promising, I still need to do some more research before I take the plunge - I don’t want to make a bad investment.
I was watching a program on the television last night that was about wireless phone security. It detailed the stories of three people who were doing banking over the phone, and someone was able to get their information from eavesdropping on their conversations. That worried me a little bit, and I will use a regular land line for my banking on the phone from now on, but it got me thinking: how secure is my cell phone?
After doing a bit of research online, I found companies that offer gsm encryption that makes your call pretty much as secure as calling from a land line. I suppose that for normal phone calls to Aunt Betty, that is probably not that important, but for sensitive calls (such as telephone banking), it would definitely be something that is required.
So I have ordered some encryption software for my Nokia phone. I sure feel better knowing that no one will be able to find out what I talking about anymore. I would definitely suggest you get some for your phone as well - I wouldn’t want to be a victim of identity theft.
