Getting Married on the Beach

Posted By Admin on December 10, 2008 @ 10:25 am

For most of my life, I have always thought that I would get married in a church just like my parents did.  I suppose that makes sense as we are taught in some respects as to what we should look forward to in life, so I never questioned it at all.

But as it turns out, I was going to meet someone that would “open my eyes” and let me see that there were other options when it came to wedding locations.  My wife to be suggested that we try something different and that having one of those beach weddings that you see in movies would be a great idea.

We wanted to have a non-religious marriage ceremony and we were able to take advantage of the services of a local civil marriage celebrant that came very highly recommended.

Needless to say, the wedding was a great success and it turned out that getting married on the beach was a great idea – it is a day that I will remember forever.

Taking the Perfect Pictures

I’d like to think of myself as an avid photographer – pretty much everywhere I go, you can see me with my camera in hand.  It has not only taken a lot of practice, but it has also meant that I have had to buy the right tools for the job at hand.

Take for example, the Canon PowerShot G9 camera that I purchased recently.  I wanted to get a camera that was smaller, and not so large, so I bought the G9.  The reason that I went that route is that I wanted a camera that had all the bells and whistles of a SLR but contained in a small package.

So far I am very happy with my choice – in fact, the next time you come over, I’d be happy to show you some of the perfect pictures that I have taken with my new camera.
