Wealthy Affiliates? Who are the Wealthy Affiliates and why do people use that term? As a member of the WA program I get to hear that question all the time. Because of that, I have decided to write this article so that everyone gets to know their story.

The term Wealthy Affiliates is actually used to refer to two amazing young men in their mid twenties who have developed and used their affiliate marketing (also known as internet marketing) skills to such a degree that they are both now millionaires.

Its an achievement that is almost too hard to comprehend. Imagine yourself in their shoes, aged only in their mid twenties and being millionaires!. How amazing to never have another money worry again!

Their names? Well in Wealthy Affiliate program circles these two amazing entrepreneurs are known quite simply as Kyle and Carson (yep… just like the Southpark characters!), and their fast rise to fame and fortune is legendary amongst internet marketers. The term Wealthy Affiliates was coined especially for them.

What are they? Quite obviously Wealthy! How did the get that way? Through affiliate marketing of course! Hence the term Wealthy Affiliates ! Both Kyle and Carson were students at university when they first met in 2002. They were typical of many college students, with very little money to spare and a desire to have a whole lot more to spend!

Starting with a budget of only $5 they started working on the internet and developing the amazing skills that made them successful. The skills and techniques they developed soon made them wealthy and extremely successful of course!

In 2005 these Wealthy Affiliates decided it was time to give something back to other people and to help others also make money from internet marketing. In the words of Kyle, “I want to make a difference in peoples lives, one by one, and use my knowledge to help teach people how to build thriving businesses online.”

And that was what they did! In 2005 the Wealthy Affiliate University was formed with the sole purpose of helping internet marketers of all levels of experience to become successful and make money online. As at today, this amazing and affordable program has helped thousands of people do just that. As these Wealthy Affiliates say on their website, their motto is “Your success is our success” and they really do mean it!
