Growth hormones regulate much of our growth, peaking in early adolescence and spurring the large growth spurts seen in children and young teens. Growth hormone is a naturally produced protein in the body, produced for the most part by the pituitary gland, and released throughout the body.
Though our natural levels of growth hormone production slow as we get older, there are many ways to increase the level of hormones released by your body, and through these increased levels of growth hormone and proper height training exercises, increase height naturally.
Four of these methods for increasing growth hormones in our bodies are described below.
Growth Hormone Pills or Injections – These are commonly used by professional athletes and body builders to gain mass quickly, as well as to recover from injuries quicker. They are prohibitively expensive, with a regular series of injections costing well over $10,000. They are also dangerous to use, causing a wide array of potential side effects, and may even cause the body to stop producing growth hormone of its own, which could lead to stunting your growth later on in life. These should generally be avoided, both for monetary and other reasons.
Deep Sleep – Achieving deep sleep is becoming less and less common for us, as we get less sleep in general each night, and surround ourselves with other distractions that interrupt our natural sleep, like leaving televisions on. Getting deep sleep is so important for so many reasons, that whether for height gain purposes or not, you should probably visit a sleep clinic and see how much deep sleep you’re getting each night. The more deep sleep one attains, the greater your capacity for growth and healing, among other things.
Exercise – Exercise has a doubly beneficial application when talking about height growth. By using techniques which help with height growth, and which also increase the production of human growth hormone, you’re really killing two birds with one stone. High intensity sprints and specific weight training routines are just two of the possible ways to do this.
Diet – Not surprisingly, diet also plays a role in HGH production. Amino acids are particularly important, as the body does not naturally produce all of these acids, and they are necessary for HGH. Other things to watch out for are your levels of sugar and carb intake, as these can inhibit the production and distribution of HGH. In general, eating a healthy diet will go a long ways towards promoting higher HGH levels, as well as giving you the energy to work out and make use of that increased HGH.
Without the proper levels of HGH, your body simply will not grow like it should and can. Increase your production of HGH and watch the effects of your targeted height gaining workouts increase in effect.
