Located in Westeran Australia’s south western part, this is an excellent place to vacation, whether it’s just for a weekend, or if you’re taking a long holiday.
If you’re thinking about a trip to this region, you’re not going to regret it. You’ll enjoy a mild climate with little seasonal variation and an attractive natural setting. The areas many vineyards and lovely coastline make for beautiful scenery, and some of Western Australia’s best beaches are located in the Margaret River region.
If you’re looking for a way to relax and get away from it wall, Margaret River is the perfect choice. It has lots to see and do – you can sunbathe on the brilliant white sand beaches, surf or swim in the Indian Ocean’s beautiful waters, or try some of this region’s world famous wines and great food.

The region currently hosts about ninety vineyards, and there are more than a hundred grape growers. Public tours and tastings, cellar door sales, and lots of other winery related activities are readily available.
Don’t think there’s nothing to Margaret River but grapes and wine, however. You’ll also get the option to check out the local foods, including cheese and chocolate, plus empty beaches and great ocean views. You’ll want to remember to check out Meelup Beach and Sugarloaf rock.
No one on a trip to Western Australia should allow themselves to miss out on all the great wines, food, and attractions of the Margaret River wine region. There’s so much to see and do, and so many opportunities to relax and enjoy yourself. No trip would be complete without a visit.
