Many decent villas will come with a swimming pool that is there for your exclusive use. The one we usually rent out comes with a pool table, darts board as well as mini football table which is something that can be used as a bit of fun if the weather turns a bit bad.

The main drawback is that you are most likely going to need a car when going to a villa as well as going out to buy the food and cooking. Of course you could do what we usually do and hit the local restaurants and try the foods from the culture.
