So Where To Stay This Year (Part 2)

Here is the second part of the properties in which you should certainly think about looking into staying in.

Cottages and Cabins

This is a great place to go to if you are visiting the countryside on a cold winter simply because you can have the big traditional fire on and cuddle up with your partner in front of it. This is something to take your partner on for a nice romantic trip, just treat her, go on. Going to a nice cottage has certainly got to be recommended to you near the Christmas time as this is the time where it tends to be the most romantic. If it is cold theres always the excuse to get that little bit closer to your partner.

Lots of snow and the cold weather is often the reason that people will go to a log cabin. This is certainly going to be romantic, certainly over Christmas. Be warned that in the summer time there can be wandering bears and they will do almost anything to get at a bit of food.

Villas

I have saved this one till last simply because it is my personal choice. The best thing I like about these places is all of the privacy that can be had through them. Many decent villas will come with a swimming pool that is there for your exclusive use. The one we usually rent out comes with a pool table, darts board as well as mini football table which is something that can be used as a bit of fun if the weather turns a bit bad.

The main drawback is that you are most likely going to need a car when going to a villa as well as going out to buy the food and cooking. Of course you could do what we usually do and hit the local restaurants and try the foods from the culture.

Of course you could always purchase a place just be aware that holiday homes insurance is not cheap.

However you can of course get that unique insurance like French house insurance as this could save you a bit of money, but whatever second homes insurance you get, make sure you choose the right one.
