I don’t know about you, but I have to admit that I am not the most organized person. I would have to say that I have an "organized mess", but beyond that, I am really not good at organizing anything at all.
But my wife is a lot different than me in this respect. You see, she likes to keep track of everything and she used to have notebooks full of the inventory of things that your would find in our home.
Recently, she decided that she would do a search for computer software to find some programs that would help her to stay organized.
She was pleasantly surprised to find the Coin Collection Wizard and the Stamp Collection Wizard so that she would be better able to keep track of her two hobbies. In fact, she bookmarked the site just in case she needs some software to solve her problems at a later date.
It seems that ever since I have had kids, I have had more computer problems than I can count. I guess they just don’t understand the consequences of their own actions, and when I finally have a chance to sit down at my computer, I usually find it infected with something.
I have been using some free spyware removal tools, but lately, they just haven’t been doing the job properly. So, I have been considering buying some paid tool like SpyHunter that would be able to do the job for me.
I just wanted to make sure that I knew what I was getting into beforehand and make sure that other people had success with this tool. But, after reading a SpyHunter review, I knew that I would be satisfied with my purchase.
So, I bought it and now it is my tool of choice for zapping spyware.
With summer quickly ending and it being almost time to go back to school, I thought that I would buy my daughter a new laptop for this fall. Her current notebook is nearly four years old, and the battery barely holds a charge making it barely suitable for school.
So, I decided that I would look online to see what I could find for her. I did find a number of models that were appropriate for her, but I wanted to see if I could get a better deal. Sure, I wouldn’t be able to negotiate a better price, but I thought that I could find some coupons that could save me some money.
I used my IE coupon toolbar that I installed a couple of months ago and typed in "laptop coupons". I was able to find a number of discounts at online retailers, and was able to get a good deal on one for my daughter.
I don’t know about you, but I have a ton of passwords to “try” and remember. Sure, I could have used the same password for every site, but realistically, that would not have been a smart option. Instead, I made sure to have a different, hard to remember password for each site - that is where my problem started.
I had heard of services online that would keep all of your passwords in the same place, but the ones that I had seen all had a monthly fee - something that wouldn’t fit into my budget.
But, lucky for me, I was able to find a site that provided a service that provided a one-time fee option. So, I became a single payment password licensee and stored all my passwords with the service.
The best part of my choice is that I can access all of my passwords wherever I am, whenever I want to.
In my spare time, when I am relaxing, I like to play games on my computer. My husband recently gave me his laptop and I have to admit that I really prefer my desktop computer. The screen is larger and I like to have the full sized keyboard. It is really nice to have the laptop to take with me though.
My husband is getting into the business of building custom computers. Because of this, my PC has been upgraded several times. I am certainly not going to complain, as it is running very quickly and my husband manages not to lose any of my stuff when he is working on it.
What I would really like is if he would just build me a gaming computer. I would like one that is just for games and I could keep all of my word processing software, my pictures and my files on the system that I have now. Maybe I should ask for one for Christmas. After all, if he builds it, it would be a lot cheaper than buying one.
After hearing that my sister was a victim of identity theft, I felt a little more paranoid using the computer. I really questioned if I was taking all the necessary precautions in terms of protecting my sensitive information like my credit card and bank accounts.
I talked to one of my friends who is a computer consultant and he suggested that I get some Internet Privacy Software. I was told that the software would prevent someone from getting easy access to my bank accounts and credit cards by ensuring that my sensitive information is not leaked to anyone.
He went on to tell me that the privacy controls software that he recommended is also paired with a web anonymizer to make sure that I am extra safe.
So, I bought the software, I feel a lot safer using it. I definitely feel better having the peace of mind that I have taken the necessary steps to protect myself from identity theft.
I had a rather bad incident today with my computer. While doing some laundry, my two year old decided that she wanted to use my computer. It ended up that she deleted a lot of stuff that was critical and I just needed some way to get it back.
I looked to see if my computer came with a digital photo recovery program - but it did not. I went online to search for some sort of solution, and I looked for "recovery my files".
It took some time to go through all the options that were presented to me - and there were many programs to choose from. In the end though, I went with the best data recovery software according to many review websites. Installation was a breeze, and I was able to get everything back with a few simple clicks of my mouse.
Needless to say, I think I learned my lesson today. Not only should I be backing up my data, but I should be making sure that my daughter cannot accidentally delete my information.
My computer has been acting a little weird lately. I know that it is not the newest computer in the world, but it has been a lot slower than I would have expected. Also, each time that I boot up the machine, I get notified of registry errors.
So, I took my search online to see if I could find the best registry cleaner software on the market and fix my problem once and for all. A simple search on a search engine was all it took and I found myself reading a Regcure review.
Now, Regcure seemed like a very good buy from what read on many review websites. It was rated very well in terms of ease of use and effectiveness, so I thought this would be the way to go. But, another review for Registry Mechanic caught my eye - so I had to check it out.
After reading the review, it was clear that I should buy Registry Mechanic. The interface was simpler and it seemed to have slightly better reviews than Regcure. I bought it online and within half an hour, my computer was working better. That made me very happy.
