I have always been careful to keep enough on hand of everything that I need in case of emergency. That means extra food, water and a good supply of barley grass on hand on all times. I guess I forgot to mention that my opening sentence as well - I am very health conscious as well.
But, since my wife started taking my chlorella and spirulina, she has not only felt healthier, but she has also strained my supply of the supplements. It never occurred to her that she could just get her own, so it means that I have to deal with keeping enough on hand for both of us.
I am still figuring that out, so I am going to the store today to pick up some more. I think that I will get a lot more so that we don’t run out so quickly this time - at least I hope it lasts longer than the last batch.
Ever since I was nine years old, I have had to wear glasses. I guess it wasn’t unexpected that I would have to considering that both my parents have them, but I never really liked wearing them. Glasses also made me a social outcast of sorts - I was the only one in the class that had to wear them.
Now years later, my love for glasses has never blossomed - I hate them with a passion. So, I decided that since there is a clinic in town that offers LASIK eye surgery, I might as well give it a try. It would be so nice to be free from my glasses once and for all.
But, I wanted to know what I was looking at before I took the steps to have the surgery. I had heard that the LASIK cost was really high, though according to the websites I did get a chance to look at, it really wasn’t that bad.
I am particularly interested to see if the clinic here in town offers wavefront LASIK as supposedly it is supposed to improve night vision - something that I really haven’t had for years.
Though it looks very promising, I still need to do some more research before I take the plunge - I don’t want to make a bad investment.
If you are like me, sometimes when I travel, things happen. I might get hurt, get sick, or even chip a tooth while I am far away from home and I might need help quickly. But if you don’t know anyone in the area that you have traveled to, it may be a nightmare with no apparent solution.
I found myself in this position just a couple of years ago when I was having terrible problems with my wisdom tooth. You see, it decided that it wanted to come in while I was traveling in Mexico and as it turns out, the tooth was rotten when it came up. Not only was this excruciatingly painful, but I needed to get it out of my mouth as quickly as possible.
But I didn’t know any dentists in Mexico.
As it turned out, I found a website that specialized in medical tourism dental that had listings of dentists in the city that I was in and I was able to get into one of them right away.
Now, if I ever have any health problems, I revisit this site to find the solution quickly and easily - which is exactly what you need in an emergency.
As we all know, the Earth is pretty polluted. From the air that we breath to the water that we drink, we are continuously increasing the toxicity of our blood which in turn can cause a lot of health problems. From cancers to feeling lethargic, these toxins affect our lives in many ways. But, I decided that I was going to do something about it.
I have seen many infomercials on the television about different patches or series of treatments that you can do to purge toxins from your body, but I don’t have a lot of time to do all that. What I really needed was something that would work without having to change my lifestyle at all, and I was sure that there was something available for me to do that.
It was at that point that I found liquid Zeolite, which works in the body to trap toxins and helps you get rid of them easily. The best part was that all I would have to do is add a couple of drops to my water and that was it - it doesn’t get any easier than that.
My husband was recently laid off from his job and it has put our family into a tailspin. We realize that we took many things for granted while we had them. We all of a sudden found ourselves with no health insurance.
A few weeks afterwards, my son came home from school with an awful toothache. Before, we would have took him in right away, but now we had to think it through.
We spent some time looking into discount dental plans that would help us out right away, so that we could get his tooth fixed.
I felt bad, as I know how awful it is to have to live with a toothache, but I also knew if we took him in, we would not have enough money left to pay our mortgage.
In the end, we got a good deal through Ameriplan and he got his tooth fixed. My husband has also found a new job and we can all smile again.
Being overweight my whole life, I knew that I definitely had to do something about getting into shape if I was going to be around long enough to watch my children graduate from high school. I started an intense diet and decided that I was going to hire a physical trainer to help me get into the shape that I had never been in before.
The first week that I did the physical training, I thought that I was going to die. Every inch of my body was in agony and when I got up every morning, I cursed the gym and my trainer. I felt like I could not move, and yet, everyday I still drug myself down there to put my body through hell once again.
It has been a little over a month now and, though I would like to say that I am doing better, it still hurts and I still hate it. I have lost a lot of weight though, and my husband is good at massage therapy.
For the longest time, my mother has had to sleep with my father. I know that is normal for married couples, but the one thing that she struggles with is that my father snores.
I can remember as a child being woken up at night to my father snoring, even though we were across the hall from them. Also, my mother has always looked tired, like someone that wasn’t getting enough sleep.
But all that changed a few weeks ago when I suggested that she order some CPAP equipment from a website that I found. It was kind of a last ditch effort on our part to try and get her a good night sleep and the results have been promising.
By using the CPAP machine, in conjunction with a sleep apnea mask, my father’s snoring disappeared. The effect has been amazing on my mother - I haven’t seen her so “chipper” ever in my life. She is looking much better now that she gets a good night’s rest every night.
We should have ordered one sooner.
Plumping lip injections are not the only thing that botox is good for now days. If you’ve seen the celebrity photos plastered all over the Internet you’ve no doubt seen the over inflated balloon like lips of those famous enough to get their photos snapped by the local photographers and paparazzi.
Botox treatments are used to fill out lines and wrinkles on the face as well as to treat an excessive sweating disorder called hyperhidrosis that occurs in the feet, hands and underarms.
When it comes to a botox London treatment, you have several practitioners who are well qualified through their own private practice or through a partnership with a spa. Many even offer home visits where you and several of your friends can have a simple, fast and easy treatment done in the privacy of your own home.
Before settling on one provider though, you might ask for referrals and check references just to be sure you are getting someone qualified to do the job right.
Did you know that cellulite does not just affect fat people? My daughter who is still in elementary school has cellulite which blows my mind because she is not overweight at all.
Cellulite is caused by fiber bands that hold all our tissues together. These aren’t stretchy and so when that tissue expands, it expands around those fibers and that causes the dimpled look.
I recently read about a new treatment though offered by Skinovative Phoenix that is non surgical and helps to stretch those bands. I’m not going to take my daughter in, but I’m glad to hear that there are non invasive treatments being developed for these issues.
When it comes to fat and cellulite reduction Phoenix spas seem to be at the top of their game. The town also does well with other skin care and for acne treatment Phoenix does extremely well according to my spa magazines.
Have you ever wondered how AARP knows who is turning 50? There must be multiple databases out there of personal information that they have access to. Those “turning 50” invitation packets (so many trees sacrificed…) arrive the week before that fateful big 5-0 day. With the number of Baby Boomers turning 50 every day, (I’d love to know the exact statistic), that is too many trees just to get one postcard back. Umm, people? There’s this thing called email.
On second thought, I get too much email, including the unsolicited kind. Like the time I was considering moving out west. You wouldn’t believe the number of California Life Insurance quote messages I received. How did they know? At least those have finally stopped. But about once a week I get a pitch from a national life insurance company via snail mail.
Maybe that’s good. When they stop sending to me, will it mean I’m too old to insure? Don’t even want to go there.
