I have always been careful to keep enough on hand of everything that I need in case of emergency.  That means extra food, water and a good supply of barley grass on hand on all times.  I guess I forgot to mention that my opening sentence as well - I am very health conscious as well.

But, since my wife started taking my chlorella and spirulina, she has not only felt healthier, but she has also strained my supply of the supplements.  It never occurred to her that she could just get her own, so it means that I have to deal with keeping enough on hand for both of us.

I am still figuring that out, so I am going to the store today to pick up some more.  I think that I will get a lot more so that we don’t run out so quickly this time - at least I hope it lasts longer than the last batch.

If you have bought an HD TV including LCD or plasma televisions there is something that your sales person didn’t tell you.  Now, it isn’t on purpose by any means, but it is a vital piece of information that you should know about your television.

If you haven’t noticed, the screen on your television is more delicate that your old tube television.  This means that it is more susceptible to damage, and if you have kids, this can be a very big problem.  If you didn’t purchase any sort of TV screen protection for your television, you have put it at risk.

I would suggest that you protect your investment and buy a tv screen protector from your local electronics store or online and protect your investment.  They are inexpensive and are essential if you want to enjoy your new television for years to come.

In fact, do everyone a favor and go back to the store that you purchased the television and tell your salesperson about it.

With summer quickly ending and it being almost time to go back to school, I thought that I would buy my daughter a new laptop for this fall.  Her current notebook is nearly four years old, and the battery barely holds a charge making it barely suitable for school.

So, I decided that I would look online to see what I could find for her.  I did find a number of models that were appropriate for her, but I wanted to see if I could get a better deal.  Sure, I wouldn’t be able to negotiate a better price, but I thought that I could find some coupons that could save me some money.

I used my IE coupon toolbar that I installed a couple of months ago and typed in "laptop coupons".  I was able to find a number of discounts at online retailers, and was able to get a good deal on one for my daughter.

One of the nicest things that I have experienced from owning my own home is that I can make any renovations that I would like without fear of a landlord getting angry with me.  It is nice to have that feeling that it is your own home and that you can have some say in what it is like.

So, my wife and I decided this summer that the existing showers in our home needed to be replaced.  The reasoning behind this is that we have a small water heater, and you can never really stay in the shower cubicles for more than a couple of minutes before all the hot water is gone.

I have really hated this part of our home as I love to have a long, hot shower.  So we are going to go out to the store today to look at some electric showers - they’ll heat the water without having to depend on the small capacity of our little water heater.

Oh, I can’t wait for a nice, hot shower…  hopefully we will be able to pick one up and install it today.

Last year I was in a terrible car accident. I am very lucky to be alive today, but my life has sure changed because of it. My mobility is not very good so I do not get out of the house very often. I do try to keep positive and, since my life was spared, I have decided to keep on living life to the fullest extent possible.

One of the things that I love more than anything is shopping. I would say that before the accident, I went shopping every day. Since I can no longer go out and shop, I am big into online shopping. I can usually get whatever I need, and though I have to wait longer for it, I still have a great time browsing online stores.

This past week, I was doing some discount electronics shopping, as I am in need of a new TV. I found exactly what I was looking for and I am certain I got a better deal on it than I would have if I had actually gone to a brick and mortar store.

When it comes to solitaire rings, diamonds are the most popular choice for engagement rings but other precious or semi precious stones can be just as beautiful. One of my favorite looks is a large round deep blue aquamarine solitaire however, you don’t see them too often.

My fiance brings up the subject every so often of getting me a new ring when we get married but I tell him not to worry about a new ring unless it is a huge solitaire diamond of at least one carat. We joke about it but he is the kind of guy who just might do it!

He gave me a beautiful princes cut center stone ring with baguettes set up in tiers on each side that has a very art deco look to it. It is not exactly an engagement ring since there is no proposal to go with it, but that is really what the ring is about. His commitment to me.

Some guys are so easy to buy for. You find out what their interests are and buy them something related to that. My best friend’s brother-in-law is like that. All she has to do to get him a present is find out from his wife what piece of golf equipment he wants, and his Christmas present is done.

My daughter is fairly easy to buy for. So is my mother, for that matter. They both are happy with cash or store gift cards any time of the year. With Mom, I can’t go wrong with gift cards from Bob Evans, JC Penney, Wal-Mart, or Sears. For my daughter it’s video/gaming stores, any major bookstore chain and also Wal-Mart. But when I told her about wish lists at Amazon.com, she got so excited, she created several category wish lists. Now she’s even easier to shop for. Why didn’t I think of this last year?

For the first time in my life, I have decided that I should get a tan before summer starts.  My reasoning behind this is that I have been working out for the past few months and my body looks good - real good.

Not to be to self-absorbed, but no matter how good your body looks, if you look all pasty and white, no one is going to care about how toned you are - they’ll just think you look nasty.  So, after all of my hard work, I didn’t want someone to not notice, so I decided that I would go to a tanning salon and get a tan before summer hits.

So I went to the store to buy some tanning bed lotion before my first tanning session - I wanted to have everything ready for my first big day.  I thought that it would be a simple trip to the store - all I should have to do is pick out the one I want, and that should be it, right?

Well, I was wrong.  There were so many different kinds of lotion, I just didn’t know what to get.  So, I gave up quickly, and I have decided to ask at the salon what they would recommend - I think that would just be easier.

It has been a long time coming, but I finally have enough money to buy a new motorcycle.  Well, maybe not quite enough for a new one, but I have been looking at a number of used motorcycles.

You see, I had a little accident last year that resulted in my bike being written off.  It wasn’t my fault, but it did make me sad to have to see it go.

So, I have been looking for a new one to ride this summer.  There have been a number of good ones for sale that I have placed offers on, but so far, I have not bought one.  I have turned my search to the Internet as the selection here in town is rather pathetic.  I have found a few sites, but I am still looking.

My only concern is that I might still be scared to ride - but I won’t know until I try.

My wife has always been a bit of a shy person.  Maybe shy isn’t the right word, self-conscious would be the right one.  You see, ever since we got married, I have wanted her to buy some sexy lingerie.  I thought that it would be great to see her in some…

But she would never look at any at the store.  She was too worried that someone we knew would see her and think that she wasn’t a proper person.  It was so bad that she wouldn’t even go buy anything but plain Jane bras for fear that someone might think that she wasn’t a proper woman.

I was about to give up, but then a buddy of mine suggested that we just order stuff like that online.  That way, no one would be able to "catch" her looking at those things in the store and she would have nothing to worry about.

So, I will be telling her tonight at supper - I hope she goes for my idea.
