Working on Papers

Posted By Admin on April 21, 2008 @ 6:27 pm

I know it is hard to believe, but I am working on some essays - again.  It seems that ever since I enrolled in college, that is all that I have been doing, and there doesn’t seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, maybe that attitude is a bit somber, but that is how you can feel when you are in college.  It is like having an endless supply of bad news hit you each and every day without end.  It has even got to the point where I have been thinking of going to one of those "buy essay" websites and just buy all the papers that I need.

But the sad fact is after paying tuition, I don’t have any money left to buy anything, let alone an essay.  So, I just better quit talking and start working on my philosophy essay.

Getting Educated Online

Posted By Admin on April 20, 2008 @ 3:03 pm

While most teenagers only think of getting their degree at a brick-and-mortar college, I decided to get mine online.

I was able to find many sites that offered online associate degrees and online paralegal degrees, which covered my to interest areas.  But I thought it made more sense than to me as I could work at home and not need to worry about navigating through a mob of people when I graduate.

As I look through the accredited online college degree program, and made a point to take some notes to ask the customer service staff just to make sure I was comfortable with both the process of taking a college classes and my eventual graduation.

I definitely think this new way of learning online will be beneficial for me and many other college-level students.  By having the option to do the course work and study whenever we have time, it gives us the freedom to choose how we spend our time.  It also gives the student more time to study as they won’t have to attend traditional classes.

College-Level Creative Writing

I don’t know if I’ve ever written such a big load of crap as I did when I wrote my management essay this past fall.  Nothing I wrote in that essay was true and it made myself to be someone who is so far from away and I had to laugh when I read it.

The essay would have worked very well as an arts essay or a creative writing assignment because it took so much imagination to make myself into somebody completely different than who I am.

I am really looking forward to the sociology essay that I get to write next semester.  I always thought essays would be something that would be very hard for me, but I have made them very fun and I’m interested to see what I can come up with next.

Choosing the Easy Route

When I was having troubles writing my essay for my psychology class, I decided that I would take a look online to see if I could buy essays instead of writing them.  I thought this would be the easiest solution for me and would take the least amount time to ensure that I could get a good mark.

When I did a search to find a website that sold psychology essays, I came across a site that offered essay assistance.  What they would do, is gets you to e-mail them your essay and they would mail it back to you with revisions so that you get a better mark.  Even though it seemed like a great idea to time, I was under time constraints I wouldn’t allow the two to four business day turnaround that the assistance website offered.

It ended up that it is bought the essay and submitted as my own work and I received a satisfactory B+ as my grade.  Not only was it the easiest essay I had ever "written", but I decided that I might use services like this in the future.

Student Is Another Word for Writing

Posted By Admin on April 17, 2008 @ 6:38 am

If I had known that going to college would mean that I would be writing paper after paper I don’t know if I would’ve gone.  You see, it was evident from early on that college student was the wrong name for what I was doing.  Instead, my title should have been writer.

From the research proposal that I had to write at the beginning of the year, the writing continued to get more and more involved.  I counted the number of dissertations I wrote (20 in total this year) and I realized that the number words I wrote was just plain crazy.

I even ended up writing a thesis about the amount writing a students do, and it was my crowning achievement in terms of grades this past term.  I am seriously considering not coming back next year as I feel that my brain and my hands need break from writing.  I guess I have the whole summer to the side what I’m going to do.

In Auntie’s Class

I have a unique relationship with one of my college professors. She happens to be my father’s sister and we are very close. When I decided on taking her class, I knew that I was going to have to work extra hard on the research papers that she assigned because she was going to expect a lot more out of me than she would the rest of the class.

She was, in total, going to assign us three term papers to complete for her and I decided that I would ask her for advice on where to find the best information and what exactly it was that she expected. I knew it wasn’t completely fair to be using who I know instead of what I know, but I will do whatever it takes to get an advantage.

She told me to do what she had asked in class when I wrote my first termpaper. If I needed more help after this, she would be willing to offer it to me. This made sense and it ended up that I was too hard on myself, because I did fine on my own and I ended up doing really well in the class.

Now Offering Two New Types of Essays

Posted By Admin on April 8, 2008 @ 11:06 pm

I have been the customer of a website that sells custom essays for the past few years.  I like to use their services when I am in a bind and don’t have enough time to get everything done.  The fact of life for a student is that there is not enough time for everything, so you do what you have to to get by.

Up until now, I have only bought English essays from their site.  They are well written and are provided in a timely manner, so that I can get everything done on time.

I just checked the site today and I have noticed that they now offer law essays and history essays as part of their service.  This would have been handy last year when I was taking a business law and history class.

But it is nice to see that other students will be able to take advantage of their new services - we know that we all need to use them sometimes.

The End of Philosophy

Posted By Admin on April 7, 2008 @ 10:37 pm

As the term winds down, it is nice to get the last final assignments, complete them, and start studying for your finals.  There’s a something very nice about being in the home stretch which is where we are right now.

I can add another class to my list of classes that are to be done right away: philosophy.  We received our last philosophy essay assignment today and it felt great.  In fact, we’re going to be allowed to choose from different essay topics instead of all writing on one broad-based subject.

We have just two short weeks to complete the essay before our final, so I need to make sure that I schedule enough time and that I will have time to work on the essay and study for my other finals besides philosophy.  I will be so nice to be done this class because quite honestly, I didn’t really like it at all.

Come a Long Way

I cannot believe that I am sitting here working on my dissertation. If you would have asked me half way through my first year of college, I never would have thought that I would make it this far. At that point I was just trying to make it through that first year. It was the hardest year of my life.

While in high school, I never had to study or work hard to get good marks, so when I started college, I did not know what to do with the work load that was given to me. Sadly, I will even admit to purchasing a few custom term papers to help me get through the first semester.

I did, by the end of the first year, get myself into a groove and learned how to study. The second year was so much better and by the time I got my degree, I really loved school and knew that I wanted to take my education as far as I could. This brings me to the present, where I sit, working on my thesis and thinking about days gone by.

Planning out the Term

Posted By Admin on April 5, 2008 @ 11:56 am

Some people might call me a little funny, but I am a time management freak.  This is especially true during the months that I am in college where time is at a premium and there’s never quite enough to go around.  My method is kind of strange, but it works for me, so I thought I might share with you and see what you think.

What I do, is take all the course syllabuses that we are given at the start of the term, go through them, and take out all the exact dates that assignments are due.  Quite a few my classes also provide details of what reading should be done each week and I am sure to mark that on my calendar as well.

In an effort to balance my coursework with the essays I have to write and make sure to start on the term papers weeks before hand with the goal of working on them a little bit each day.  This way, I’m not trying to get them done at the last minute and it minimizes the number of all nighters that I end up having to do.

So far, this method is worked well for me over the past couple of years, and though I’ve had to tweak it a little bit, it has ensured that I get all my work done in a timely manner and that I get good marks in all of my classes.
